He needed a web site that was clean, straight forward, and that could be updated without much web experience. KinCentric Group, Inc. needed a web site to promote their three flagship software products. To appeal to the broadest market, they needed a site which was clean, high-tech, and easy to navigate. This site was designed using Dreamweaver, FrontPage, EditPlus, Photoshop, and Flash, and coded in HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets.

Von Hippel-Lindau Family Alliance desired a web site that would appeal to a youthful audience. The redesigned teen page has a bright, eye catching design and integrates mouse effects and Flash. The "Website" link above links to the official site, and the EC link directs you to my unmodified design. This web site was designed using Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and coded in HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets.

KinCentric Group, Inc. is an Albany, NY based Human Resource software provider. Their GUI software product, ProgressiveHR, allows the user to track employees, monitor attendance, track historical data, generate various reports, manage employee benefit packages, and more. This site was coded in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and designed using Fireworks, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.

Project Renaissance is a year long living and learning program at the University at Albany. It is a screened competitive pre-professional program that introduces freshmen to the fields of health, law, and business. This site was launched in the Fall of 2000 and is used as a communication resource for students, faculty, and parents. The index page contains an image of a campus building with a bright blue sky developed completely in Photoshop. The site was coded in HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS); it also illustrates local and remote mouseovers, and follows W3C guidelines.

     
 

Eclectic Inspiration: Initiatives for Women

The Initiatives for Women (IFW) program at the University at Albany is designed to enhance the educational and career advancement for women. Since its 1994 launch women from all walks of life have been given awards, scholarships, and grants to continue their education or better their career. The IFW site was designed using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver, and coded in HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets. The IFW site is redesigned every few years; this was the design in previous years. This is not the final version, but provides a solid understanding of what it did look like.

The SUNY Learning Network (SLN) is a group of over 50 higher education institutions, which includes the University at Albany, that offer distance learning options to their undergraduate and graduate students. The SLN has had great success since it's inception in 1995-1996, in which only eight classes were offered, to the current year where over 1500 classes are offered. This site was designed to provide a basic overview of the SLN and to be used in conjunction with its official site. Since it's creation the SLN has moved to another location. This site was created using Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.

Though the Flash 4 tutorial was created for a presentation in a Web Development class, this site was designed using the CETL style sheet to allow for inclusion in their tutorial page. This site illustrates the integration of Flash and HTML to create an easy to follow tutorial.
